Ann-Sophie Surena
Can you introduce yourself quickly?
My name is Ann-Sophie, I am 44 years old and I am a Team Leader Account in Biot.
Can you tell us about your start at Bechtle Comsoft?
I joined Bechtle Comsoft in 2003, originally SOS developer, as a technet client manager. After the company was acquired, I continued to work in a sales position, managing customer portfolios.
Over the years, the sales team started to grow and develop. The management gave me the opportunity to become Team Leader for the SMB part of the business, a position I currently hold.
Can you tell us about your background?
After my BTS in management assistant, I worked at Metrologis, a computer wholesaler, as a sales person in the consumables department. I decided to follow my manager to a new company, Nessink, where I continued in the same position.
In 2003, I left the Paris region to come to the South of France. That's when I applied for a job at SOS développeur as a salesperson.
What qualities do you think you need to have to be in your position?
To be a manager, I think you have to be a good listener, patient, organised and above all versatile.
What skills have you acquired since joining Bechtle Comsoft?
Since I have been working at Bechtle Comsoft, my listening skills have developed enormously. I have been able to acquire people skills and especially as a manager I have been able to learn mediation.
